How often should I have my oven professionally cleaned?
We recommend having your oven professionally cleaned every 6-12 months, depending on how frequently you use it. Regular cleaning can help extend the lifespan of your oven, improve its efficiency, and ensure it is safe to use.

Do self-cleaning ovens need professional cleaning and can Cookerburra do this?
Despite their name, we recommend self-cleaning ovens are professionally cleaned as regularly as possible. Self-cleaning ovens often consist of self-clean interiors and/or liners designed to burn off debris left behind from cooking. However, many do not reach the high temperatures needed to produce the required result.
Many Cookerburra customers comment on how difficult it can be to clean such ovens themselves, as these liners “hide” the majority of grease and fat build-ups.
Rest assured all Cookerburra operators are fully trained to clean self-cleaning ovens and our range of products are specifically designed to work brilliantly with all types of ovens. Your local specialist will be able to remove all fat, grease and carbon deposits, leaving your oven sparkling clean once again – particularly in those hard-to-reach areas around the main element and fan.

How long does it take to clean an oven?
This depends on the level of cleaning required and the size of the oven. Typically our technicians can usually complete a deep clean of a standard-sized oven in approximately two hours.
Is it safe to use my oven immediately after cleaning?
Yes – our specialist “own brand” cleaning products make it completely safe to use your oven once cleaning is complete. Our technicians will also thoroughly rinse and dry your oven before leaving to ensure there is no residual cleaning solution left behind.
Do you clean oven racks and trays?
Yes – we clean these items in a decarbonising solution tank installed in our vans. Your oven racks and trays will then return in a completely clean and hygienic condition.
Do Cookerburra provide other services as well as oven cleaning?

Our technicians also carry a full range of replacement oven light bulbs which are heat resistant to 300°C, along with extractor fan canopy lights and replacement filters. Although we don’t carry replacement oven parts, we can put you in contact with reputable suppliers or the manufacturer.
Do you clean range cookers?

No – we will not leave any mess in your kitchen. We carry out all the main cleaning work in our specially designed van, which contains a deep cleaning tank. All the dirty work is done outside of your home or business.
